MORE THAN YELLOW
Nove25 presents Fine Jewelry in three colours: yellow gold, rose gold and white gold. As with all the brand's other jewellery, different shapes and colours express different personalities, ensuring that your individuality can always shine on through.
K FOR CARATS
In addition to the skills and craftsmanship of our workmen, the quality of gold is measured in carats (kt).
Even if style has little to do with numbers, it is good to know that a carat is a small part of the metal from which a piece of jewellery is made, whilst it also contains other alloys that help make it strong and durable. Depending on the number of carats, weight and value vary, as do some specific properties, which are assessed and evaluated to arrive at the optimal blend for the jewel of your dreams. The gold jewellery in Nove25's Fine Jewelry collection is available in 9K or 18K gold.
LAB GROWN DIAMONDS: THE FUTURE
Nove25's Fine Jewelry collection represents the future of jewellery and its production, including materials.
Nove25 offers Lab Grown diamonds. Exactly like natural diamonds, these diamonds are obtained through cutting-edge technology and science and, most importantly, have the same chemical and physical characteristics as natural diamonds but at a more affordable cost.
BETTER BE BETTER
The use of Lab Grown diamonds not only ensures the availability of sizes and colours that are difficult to find in nature, but also has the advantage of reducing the impact on the environment. Avoiding the extraction of raw materials allows for ethical and sustainable production that respects people and the planet. The sparkle of our diamonds helps us keep the light of our ecosystem burning.
THE 4 Cs
To describe the quality and beauty of a diamond, in addition to words, we rely on scales of letters and numbers, which help us classify stones according to universally recognised parameters. To simplify the process, the most important characteristics of diamonds are summarised in 4 categories, commonly referred to as the '4Cs'.
Carat: carat weight (C) of the diamond, not to be confused with the carat of gold, indicated by the letter K.
Colour: diamonds are distinguished by their colour, ranging from white to yellow and expressed in letters. These go from the letter 'D', a colour defined as 'Superior Exceptional White', up to the letter 'Z', which is closest to yellow. The Fine Jewelry Nove25 selection only includes D, E and F diamonds.
Clarity: each diamond is unique and unrepeatable, as is its clarity. This is classified by letter abbreviations starting with 'IF', which indicates the highest purity, and ending with 'Pique', the last and most economical grade. Our selection only includes VS+ diamonds.
Cut: Cutting refers to the way a diamond is sculpted and polished: the process in which a rough, opaque stone acquires brilliance, transforming into a luminous and fascinating gem. The cut is what brings the diamond to life.
BORN THIS
WAY
BORN THIS WAY
But how are Lab Grown diamonds created?
There are actually two processes used to create the diamonds in the Fine Jewelry collection: CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) or HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature).
The first technique involves ionising a special gas to create a layered carbon surface, whilst for the second, the diamond 'seeds' are subjected to high temperatures and high pressure to cause the rough diamond to grow. It is then treated and polished into the desired shape.
